HIGH-ACHIEVING, LIMITLESS ENERGY AND VAST EXPERIENCE COMBINE TO PROVIDE DIGIKIDS® CHILD ID SAFETY SERVICES FOR ORANGE COUNTY

In response to the more than 2,000 missing children reported in the United States each day, DIGIKIDS® offers a child safety CD that allows parents to quickly provide law enforcement officials, the media, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and other agencies with two high-resolution photos along with medical and identifying information to aid in recovery efforts.

ORLANDO, Florida -- June 18, 2009 -- Leslie Hackett has been selected to offer the exclusive DIGIKIDS® child ID franchise for the Orange County area, announced Michael J. Childs, DIGIKIDS® President.

DIGIKIDS® offers a child safety CD that allows parents to quickly provide law enforcement officials, the media, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and other agencies with two high-resolution photos along with medical and identifying information to aid in recovery efforts.

"As I researched options to provide me with more flexibility with family, I became convinced that DIGIKIDS® was a good fit for me," Hackett explained. "I was especially impressed that no database is created or retained by DIGIKIDS® — a major advantage that cannot be duplicated by any other child ID provider."

"Once an event is over, my services are complete and delivered. I don't have to secure or delete information for subsequent processing or mail materials back. It's that easy. It's that safe."

Offered through schools, preschools, churches, summer camps and other public events, and now online, DIGIKIDS® delivers its secure Child ID kits on site in two minutes or less. With its patent-pending technology to create each Child Safety CD, DIGIKIDS® offers parents anywhere a secure and efficient tool that can help speed the return of lost or missing children.

An Illinois native, Leslie Hackett's family moved to Miami, FL, when she was six months old. There, her mother began selling Tupperware to help make ends meet. In 1968, Hackett's parents moved to Orlando after they purchased a Tupperware franchise which they continued to operate successfully until their retirement in 1986.

"I married two years out of high school, and in six years had two children," Hackett said. "But my dream was to go to college and when my youngest child entered college, I did."

Hackett graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Belhaven College in 2003.

Before that, she accumulated almost 25 years' tenure in the auto industry, at first with a Pontiac franchise, which later grew into the Courtesy Auto Group, one of the largest, privately owned groups in the Orlando area. The next 14 years were spent working for a variety of local high-end auto dealers. Hackett worked first as a title clerk and finally the last 17 years as a Controller.

"Fortunately, I now have a way to balance my work and home life, creating an income stream, doing something I really enjoy," Hackett continued, "and most importantly, I'm an advocate for child safety."

"I take great pride in the service I provide with DIGIKIDS®: Making a pocket-sized CD available to transmit electronically all the pertinent information needed to help locate a missing child, in one complete, cohesive package."

"Exceptional people like Leslie Hackett bring a unique perspective to the important roles safety and peace of mind play in protecting the happiness and well being of families," Michael Childs said. "We are proud Leslie Hackett has joined our growing family of DIGIKIDS® franchisees, and we look forward to a long and mutually rewarding partnership."
